Folio 179: Albemarle to Holdernesse. Encloses paper [f.182] said to be from exiled members of Parliament to the Grande Chambre. It urges it not to register any agreement without the whole of Parliament being assembled. The King is said to have agreed that certificates of confession are not to be required for the last sacraments. He will take over all outstanding prosecutions. Thereafter Parliament has authority and is also to administer the public hospitals.
