Folio 149: Albemarle to Holdernesse. Refers to Turkish mission [see f.143]. Has received report from Count Sartirana [Sardinian Minister to France] that St. Contest claims Britain refused payment of Villa Franca duty on basis of an ancient treaty. Mademoiselle Murphy is still at Versailles [see f.100] and is paying court to Pompadour. The King returns to Crécy, the Court goes to Compiègne in July.
