Folio 158: Albemarle to Newcastle. He is optimistic about French intentions towards the election. The King has granted to Madame de Pompadour the honours due to a Duchess but not the title. There are many entertainments, enhanced by fine weather and the presence ofthe Infanta of Parma. Wall is expected and will be met by Masones.
