Folio 308: Albemarle to Holdernesse. He encloses a memorial [f.310] concerning a ship captured before the war. The speedy settlement of the case by the Court of Appeal would strengthen the British argument. He refers to the case of a prize taken in 1741, settled bya committee of Council, in France's favour.
Date and place: 1752 July 22/Aug 2 Compiègne.
