Folio 274: Albemarle to Newcastle. France would like to see Wall replaced in Britain by Grimaldi. France has been informed about the Spanish treaty. Masones is expected. He encloses a copy of f.264, which letter was burnt by the common hangman by order of Parliament.
Date and place: 1752 July 2/13 Compiègne.
