Encloses a letter to Keith and Hyndford and one to Vorster. The King will urge the Empire to make reasonable concessions, supported by Mainz and Bavaria. Prussia only stipulated the cession of Pleystein in the Treaty of Dresden. Otherwise the Palatinate can only expect money. The election must proceed. The Elector of Cologne is pressing claims, instigated by Prussia. If France persists in threats, the result could be a general war.
