Folio 141: Newcastle to Hyndford and Keith. The King has informed Vergennes and Wrede that he will agree to the ceding of Plaisting [Pleystein] and compensation for Falkenstein but that, since the Empire wishes to negotiate with the Palatinate direct, he will not mediate. He makes no comment on the proposal to cede Burgau for Falkenstein. St. Contest's statements vary. Encloses papers on the claims, with comments, and has informed Vorster.
Date and place: 1752 May 31/June 11 Hanover.
