Folio 184: Albemarle to Holdernesse. The Dauphine has had a miscarriage. Glinglin, Praetor of Strasbourg, has been arrested for embezzlement. The Keeper of the Seals will prosecute. Argenson is his protector. Three persons posing as Franciscans have been put into the Bastille. There are many murders and robberies in the streets of Paris, because of the scarcity and dearness of provisions. Work on the Military School has stopped for lack of funds.
