Folio 177: Albemarle to Rouillé, protesting at the conduct of La Jonquière, contrary to the Treaty of Utrecht. He is constructing forts in the territory of the Five Nations, which is subject to Britain, and has arrested six Britons trading with the Indians. He seeks to hinder traders from Philadelphia on the Ohio river and threatens Oswego. Albemarle demands the destruction of the forts and the release of and compensation for the six prisoners.
