Folio 165: Albemarle to Holdernesse, reporting on a conversation with St. Contest, including Hyndford's mission. St. Contest said France offered no opposition to the election of the King of the Romans, provided the Electors did not vote under duress, and that fearsof Prussian influence and intentions were exagerated. Albemarle had mentioned La Jonquière. Kaunitz received news of Hyndford's mission coldly.
