Folio 249: Albemarle to Holdernesse. He refers to St. Contest and prizes and encloses an extract of a letter from Rouillé to Puyzieulx, implying that Britain would go back to 1742 [f.256]. Albemarle denies he ever gave this impression and quotes from a letter to Puyzieulx. He refers to rejoicings for the Duc de Bourgogne. He will discuss the evacuation of the Neutral Islands in the light of dispatches from Grenville [see SP 78/240/ff.69, 71, 73 and 321]. He will try to prevent the printing of the French memorial on Nova Scotia, seeing Puyzieulx and Noailles.
