Folio 197: Albemarle to Newcastle. The Court is in recess. He regrets the obstacles to Britain's admission to the treaty between the Empire and Spain. Rochford reports that Sardinia will sign, offering troops in return for guarantees for Savoy and Nice. Arrears from 1747 are being paid in Brest. Shirley and Mildmay have delivered their answer on St. Lucia. He will send the French memorial on Nova Scotia.
