Description

Folio 240: Albemarle to Bedford, enclosing a memorial from the Maltese Ambassador [f.242]. Information from Honfleur indicates naval preparations in train at Toulon and Brest. The Duc de Deuxponts is at Versailles, under the name of Count Spunheim and is in great favour. The Bull granting a Jubilee is to be proclaimed, suspending public diversions for two months.
