Folio 75: Albemarle to Bedford. The King, at Bellevue, has received news of the births of a prince to the Queen of the Two Sicilies [Prince of Naples] and of a prince to Parma. He has returned to Versailles for an extraordinary council. Ammon may have come either to enlist French support in case of a Prussian rupture with Russia or to concert action to defeat the election of the King of the Romans. Encloses edicts establishing a Military School [ff.77, 83]. The judgement on La Bourdonnais is not yet public.
