Folio 38: Albemarle to Bedford. The Parliament of Paris is preparing Remonstrances to the King against the refusal of the sacrament by the curé of St. Etienne to an alleged Jansenist. Kaunitz is better, but receiving nobody, not even Count Esterhazy, Imperial Ambassador to Madrid, nor General Luchesi. Saxe's body has left Chambord. His nephew, Count de Frise, has become Colonel of his dragoons. He reports other consequential military changes. Pensions have been granted to De Frise, Saxe's sister Princess of Holstein, his nephew Count Lewenhoff and his close friend Loewendahl.
