Folio 285: Commissaries to Bedford. The French wished to discuss the limits of the Channel, for purposes of negotiations over prizes, without prejudice to the future. They had refused. The French would not provide a memorial on St. Lucia until Britain had provided her memorial on the limits of Acadia. They seek instructions.
