Folio 179: Commissaries to Bedford. Reporting on their fourth and fifth meetings. The French wished to discuss prizes not affected by differences over sea limits, and were willing to discuss Nova Scotia, pending British instruction on St. Lucia. Rival claims in Nova Scotia and Acadia were made, France describing Nova Scotia as "un mot en air". They also wanted claims and proofs to be in writing.
Date and place: 1750 Sept 27/Oct 7(?) Paris.
