Folio 224: Albemarle to Bedford. Rouillé has sent a letter [f. 227] to de la Jonquière, falling short of Albemarle's expectations. Albemarle has refused to accept a memorial on Nova Scotia from Rouillé. De Silhouette found the maps of Nova Scotia produced by d'Anville in Paris were unfavourable to France. The clergy fear the imposition of the Vingtième. The King will stay at Versailles until the Dauphine gives birth. Naval intelligence enclosed [f. 229] Endorsed: to be laid before the Lords Justices.
