Folio 275: Ordonnance du Roy relating to the declaration of war against Britain. Britain encouraged Austria to attack, and to reject peace terms, Britain broke the convention of Hanover of 1741 and resumed harassment of French shipping, seizing cargoes, crews and even military supplies; orders cessation of trade and any other relationship with British subjects.
Date and place: 1744 Mar 15 Paris.
