Folio 161: Thompson to Newcastle. Wasner is dismayed at Prussian declaration of support for Bavaria, and reports that George II is negotiating with France for the neutrality of his German dominions. Spy reveals that Fleury has unofficially agreed to Spanish proposals [see f.145]; French attitude is hardening against the English.
