Folio 156: `C Polo' [an agent] to [Thompson]. Very concerned that his previous letters have not reached Thompson and that he has had no reply, or payment; naval preparations at Brest including recruitment of crews; a ship from d'Antin's squadron has arrived carrying some of the sick, it is reported that 2,000 men of d'Antin's crews are sick.
Date and place: 1741 Mar 17 Brest.
