Folio 63: Newcastle to Waldegrave. Instructs him to cultivate the goodwill of the French Queen and of Duc de Bourbon, who would replace Louis XV and Fleury if the latter died; Fleury's request to grant Dillon exemption from any anti-Catholic legislation will be complied with; hopes France will agree to British version of a convention to terminate the disputes in the West Indies; instructs him to sound out the Sicilian Abbots as to the best way of attacking Spain when Britain decides on a war.
