French impatience with Spain; speculation about Spanish royal wedding preparations; Fleury regrets that the British ambassador in Turkey has apparently tried to dissuade the Porte from asking for French mediation; Bavaria's envoycriticises Emperor's ruthless ambition towards the other members of the Empire; Schmerling accuses General Seckendorf of receiving bribes from Protestant powers to betray the Austrian army to the Turks; probably this propaganda is designed to try and induce France to give payments to Austria.
