Folio 264: Waldegrave to Newcastle. Fleury suspects Chauvelin and Vaulgrenant of having encouraged Spain to attack Portugal; Waldegrave remarks that Chavigny was an ardent supporter of Chauvelin, and criticises Orry as being unfit to replace him; Fleury agrees. Fleury does not believe that the Pretender has significant support in the Austrian Court; Fleury flattered by British concern for his health; Fleury indifferent to whether or not Spain accedes to the Treaty of Vienna and accepts Waldegrave's reassurances regarding Robinson.
