Folio 252: Copy of the Preliminary Articles. Stanislas to retain title of King of Poland and his estates but will abdicate in favour of the Elector of Saxony. Amnesty for Poles and maintainance of their privileges. Stanislas to obtain Bar as well as Lorraine, when the Duke of Lorraine obtains Tuscany. Lorraine will revert to France on death of Stanislas. French King will give up French representation at the Diet. Don Carlos to remain in possession of the Two Sicilies. Minor territorial gains for the King of Sardinia. The Emperor is to have Parma, and other territories in Italy restored to him. France will recognise the Pragmatic Sanction. Commissioners to settle frontiers in Alsace and between France and Austrian Netherlands.
