Louis XV informs Parlement that he is not prepared to accept any proposition from them, orders them to obey his former orders, and to ask for his pardon; false rumours that the Emperor had died and that the Spanish expeditionary forcewas sailing for Scotland; references to Duchess of Buckingham, and to Mrs. Westcombe.
