Description

Folio 378: Memorandum presented by Parmesan envoys to the British plenipotentiaries. Marchese di Pallavicini has asked the Emperor for certain fiefs in Parmesan territory; Parma asks Britain to persuade the Emperor not to entertain these demands, otherwise the Emperor will be able to `dismember' the Duchy.
