Description

Folio 220: Poyntz to Newcastle. Fleury will warn Austria and Spain that they must give a reply very soon or face the consequences; protests against proposed British legislation to ban imports of fine French cloth, and fears the effect on French opinion after the incident when a French ship was illegally forced to salute at Plymouth.
