Folio 160: Crawfurd to Robert Walpole. William Poole's allegation of having been press-ganged into an Irish regiment in France appears to be false, although this does sometimes occur; Earl Marischal's brother has applied for a passport to come to England, and believes he is indemnified against arrest under the three year amnesty; the Earl Marischal too seems to be tiring of the Jacobite cause.
Date and place: 1723 Oct 16, Paris.
