Landi says Parma is trying to persuade Spain to grant South Sea Company's ship its annual permit, and to stop insisting on return of Gibraltar; Britain will try to secure Castro and Ronciglione to Parma; the Austrian dependency of Milan may try to annex some of Parma's territory; France unable to pay full subsidy to Sweden; French reluctance to guarantee Schleswig to Denmark because of friendship towards Holstein; France favours rapid peace settlement between Russia and Sweden; Prince Kurakin's visit to Paris; Law's enemies and supporters; difficulty in obtaining passports; remittances from France controlled; discounts; Pope's Constitution; Mar; Cassart's expedition to Morocco unsuccessful.
