Folio 239: Pulteney to Craggs. Bills of high value held by the Bank to be burnt and others held by the public to be exchanged within a year for new bills carefully stamped and registered. Payments over 100 livres to be made with bank bills; heavy fines for disobeying these provisions and refusing to accept 10 livre notes.
