Folio 230: Pulteney to Craggs. Law freed from surveillance and effectively restored to former authority. The number of shares in the Compagnie des Indes to be reduced from 600 thousand to 200 thousand, by burning those held by the Compagnie itself. Society of Insurers to assure fixed interest dividends on new debenture shares to be issued in exchange for the old shares; alleged achievements of the Compagnie.
