Description

Folio 222: Pulteney to Craggs. Decree permitting the Compagnie des Indes to sell annuity policies; annuities will be exempt from the taille; reports that Law will promote liberty of conscience, abolish the droit d'aubaine, and encourage strangers to settle in the country.
