Folio 436: Prior to Bolingbroke. Has given de Torcy names of English Commissaries. French Commissaries sent to London to discuss Treaty of Commerce. Gave in memorial concerning French who smuggle wine and brandy into England and take wool away. De Torcy agrees thatpunishment for culprits should be severe. Has given Bromley extract of letter from Commissaries at Dunkirk and held some discussion over demolition. Duke of Savoy's Ministers have spoken with de Torcy.
