Folio 303: Prior to Bolingbroke. Discussed present state of commerce with de Torcy. Received Commission authorizing him to terminate affair of Menton and Roquebrune. Hopes French King will yield to Queen's wishes about demolition of Dunkirk since French troops are allowed to remain in Placentia over the winter. French King interceded with Philip V concerning the Catalans. New ordinance preventing children with French parents living in foreign countries from entering France. Thinks Postal Treaty has been settled satisfactorily.
