Folio 274: Jenkinson to [Prior]. As prisoner at Rochelle for three and a half years, Jenkinson wrote several letters to his merchants to pay the ransom money, but to no avail. Taken hostage for brig from Bristol captured by French privateer. Asks for help to procure his release.
