Description

Folio 243: Crozat to de Torcy. Encloses reply of Houssaye, Captain of Adelaide, to Welden's second memorial. His wife complained that jewels were stolen but he mentioned none in the list of property taken. Requires proof. Asks de Torcy to discover truth when Roquemadore, of French fleet which captured the Sherbourne, arrives.
