French have sent instructions to plenipotentiaries at Utrecht. Congratulated French King upon the peace and found him anxiousto conclude with Austria. Lexington is satisfied with manner of the French renunciations. Asks whether or no he should visit Electors of Cologne and Bavaria who were previously enemies of Britain. Asks whether he should visit the King of Sweden if he returns in French warship via Toulon. No difficulty occurred in French Court's reception of Duke of Richmond. Has represented cases of Prince of Carignan, Princess of Austria and most particularly the Duchess of Hamilton to de Torcy. Will wear mourning for King of Prussia. Asks that correspondence between him and Dartmouth may be regular and reminds him about need for settlement for packet boats.
