Folio 179: Pontchartrain to Dartmouth. Repeats complaints of July 23 from three ship owners of Les Sables d'Olonne, whose vessels were captured. They claimed to have been misled by the English wording of the ransom and they sent the ransom in French money and not in English money as the agreement required. As the hostages are incurring large debts in prison he asks for speedy settlement of the affair.
