Description

Folio 220: Pontchartrain to Dartmouth. Pleased at agreement to exchange more prisoners. Hopes for return of prisoners in Ireland and will return those at St. Malo. Asks for release of St. Ovide and improvement of prison conditions; also return of du Chail's daughter. Will verify complaints made by Captain Knap and Cuningham. Requires release of sailors on the Phoenix of Honfleur. Asks that a hostage be returned as ransom was paid by a widow, Onfroy, for a property in Newfoundland.
