Folio 196: Pontchartrain to Dartmouth. One thousand British prisoners still at Dinant. Demands better treatment of French prisoners; protests at their high mortality, starved in insanitary British prisons. Demands return to France of certain English officers whose parole has expired. Baron Heyder is now in a position to pay his English debts. Complaint from fisherman of La Hougue whose nets were stolen by the crew of two English ships [f.186]. Compensation required.
Date and place: 1711 Sept 9, Fontainebleau.
