Folio 149C: Prior to Dartmouth. Received ratification of cessation of arms and encloses extract from de Torcy concerning this. Has issued certain English passports in France; therefore French ones may be issued in England. Spanish ministers require passports from Dartmouth for ships to the Indies; encloses copy of Renunciation in Spanish; substitution of Duke of Savoy to that monarchy is to be added. De Torcy complained to Elector of Bavaria about privateers sailing under his flag from Nieuwpoort. Encloses two instruments from de Torcy.
