Folio 47: Memorandum on the state of the French Navy, neglect and deterioration since the retreat of the Count of Toulouse from Barcelona; because of the impossibility of obtaining naval superiority, France deprived her navy of necessary funds with the result thatapart from cannon there is insufficient equipment for naval armament. French preparations in Marseilles to aid Spain to retake Majorca; siege of Toulon.
