Folio 255: Gilberto Mells to the States General. English squadron attacks the Dutch Smyrna fleet. Dutch Commander saluted the English admiral with a five gun salute, to be answered with a broadside. Some Dutch ships lost and casualties suffered. English frigates are patrolling and thus blocking up the bay of Cadiz.
