Folio 115: De Bacquoy to [Williamson]. Exchange of Franco-Dutch treaty ratification. States General will probably accommodate France by allowing inclusion of four treaties in the guarantee. De Bacquoy believes the treaty almost amounts to a mutual defence pact against England. Russian envoys asked for extra allowances but the States will only pay the customary sum. All members of Parliament ordered to attend, to speed legislation in England which may include a bill against profanity and drunkenness. Exchange of ratification of Franco-Danish treaty, fostered by Dutch mediation, seems about to occur; Denmark strengthens fortifications and fleet. Friesland bitterly opposes Holland's new form of public prayer. Spanish concern of interests for Prince of Orange.
