Folio 89: De Bacquoy to [Williamson]. States will not guarantee treaties, submitted by the French if they were not concluded before the alliance, or if they did not include direct Dutch or French involvement. Dutch want French guarantee of Anglo-Dutch treaty of September 1662 and of partition of [Belgian] Netherlands in return for their recognition of Dunkirk. Terms and progress of de Ruyter's agreement with Algiers and Tunis. Pope asks the Emperor to support him in his argument with France diplomatically and militarily; the Emperor has refused to do so.
