Folio 165: Dutch ambassadors to the Greffier of the States General. Agreement, upon certain conditions to Charles II's insistence on the appointment of commissioners to arbitrate in the negotiations (cf. f.158). English suspicion of Dutch intention allayed by co-operation in apprehending the regicides. Commissioners will report to the King on Dutch representation. Steps taken to bring the treaty to as speedy a conclusion as possible. Outlook is hopeful.
