Folio 153: Dutch ambassadors in France to Louis XIV. Regret that the question of a toll on all vessels entering French ports should have impeded the conclusion of the treaty. Claim that Dutch exemption from such tolls had been assumed throughout the negotiations, and that their imposition would prove fatal to Dutch commerce. Arguments in support of their abolition.
