Folio 65: States General to Charles II. In 1657, the Dutch ship St. Nicholas was seized and sold by Admiral Blake. The High Court of Admiralty decreed that restitution be made, but the Council of State overruled and in April 1660 ordered that a vessel called the Sophie should be given instead. Plea that this sentence may now be executed as soon as possible.
