This series contains registered files from the prefixed series of the National Economic Development Office (NEDO). In 1967 file prefixes were introduced which indicate the sector covered. The papers cover the work undertaken by NEDO for the Council, including the setting up, membership and administration of both it and the tripartite committees, the preparation and drafting of papers and research matters etc. Towards the end of its existence the registration system became less well ordered. FG 5/1-771 have been transferred from FG 2 where they were originally assigned in error.
